Reflection of a finite beam from a corrugated waveguide, including the first description, as far as we know, of the branches of abnormal reflection that appear near the angle of normal incidence. The modes-interference study reproduces those branches for a high-contrast binary grating (its Figure 4) and adopts a figure from this paper. Sychugov is part of the research school MC Grating comes from.
