This documentation was written for releases up to 2018 and is being revised. Some dialogs have changed since. If something does not match what you see, write to [mc@mcgrating.com](mailto:mc@mcgrating.com).

The control which opens this dialog is active only if there is a result data of any type. For the any type of a scan result data (2D scan also) this utility provides the possibility for an express analysis of the power graph versus scan parameter for any possible diffraction order (not only displayed) with respect to the polarization state of the incident beam and the orientation of the output polarizer. For the ***Fixed Parameters*** result data (including ***Field Calculation*** data) the slider graph is versus the output polarizer angle. The output polarizer is always placed in the plane perpendicular to the ***k*** – vector of the wave impinging onto it. The polarizer angle corresponds to the angle between ***Es*** component of the incoming wave and the ***E*** vector of the output wave.

Under the slider controls area there are additional controls with obvious meaning and two buttons:

- ***Ok*** hides the Slider Dialog and makes the slider graph window accessible.
- ***Cancel*** closes the Slider Dialog and the slider graph window.
